Turkey Bowl

Thanksgiving morning is always flag football or the turkey bowl. This play the Bishop caught the ball and was manhandled before the flag was finally pulled.

Running Away

Camping and fishing near Tooele gives many opportunities for fun in the wilds--but not too wild for children. This little boy loves getting out of the city!

First Snow

Everyone has their first snow. It is fun to watch their playfulness in the white stuff, no matter the age!

Dinosaur

The "Highroad to UTAH" was a float in a 4th of July parade. I thought it was cute.

This group was doing a wonderful drum beat down at the Salt Lake City Building off of 4th and 5th South. I still remember the reverberating drums!

WW-II B-17 Bomber

This WW-II B-17 Bomber visited Ogden a few years back. We were able to get up into the Bomber and see how really cramped the airplane is in the inside.

Hands on Dress

Brides love their white gloves with their white dresses. This bride was all white.

Manti Miracle Pageant

The drama of the Manti Miracle Pageant is fun to watch and fun to photograph. Do not worry about using your flash. The hill of the temple is well lit and your photographs will come out OK without using any flash!

Photographer Her Daughter

As I was photographing my son and his then fiance, I saw this mother photographing her daughter. She put herself into what she was doing. I was impressed and enjoyed the idea of photographing her as she worked.

Violinist

During a Young Women's New Beginnings program this young woman displayed her wonderful talent through her violin. She is also an awesome cartoonist.

Beautiful Bride

Julia is one of the most striking brides that I have ever photographed. She was a natural before the camera as well.

Through the Glass

I thought these three looking through the glass was fun and I really liked how the glass distorts the view of parts of them. The reflection of the building across the street also adds debth to the view.

Girl at the Parade

The Shriners in their little cars like to go down the street and give the children "high-fives". She is ready for another "high-five" and is excited about the parade.

Falling off the Stool

This is another photograph from the first day I was shooting in the studio. He started to fall off the little six inch high stool. "No little boys were hurt in the shooting of these pictures." :) Not every picture is perfect and I will show some of the "bad" pictures as well. Some of them are quite fun.

First Day in the New Studio

I rented a new studio yesterday. Today I went in and played with the lights. I thought this photo of my grandson came out really nice. He ran around the studio and had a grand time.

Holly Bridal

Holly looks like a really dreamy bride!!

Babies born early are still cute and lovable. You feel for them with all the tubes and sensors attached to them. This little boy was four weeks early and 4lbs 6oz.

Scared of the Rocks

The rocks were big and they went down very quickly. The little girl was petrified and did not want to move. The little boy climbed all over the rocks. This is a fun picture of emotions.

It is a challenge to watch for the "fun" moments of the wedding and to be ready for them. This wedding was held in the backyard of the couple. It was a wonderful setting.
