I helped with a garage sale one morning recently. The lady had this tree in the yard that had a family of Red-Bellied Woodpecker's in it. These two pictures show Mom and Dad feeding their young. I never did get a glimpse of any of the little ones. They are hiding in the tree trunk.

Our Heavenly Father sees our real potential. He knows things about us that we do not know ourselves. He prompts us during our lifetime to fulfill the measure of our creation, to live a good life, and to return to His presence.

I took this picture in 2010 in Salt Lake City. My wife wanted a poster to go with this quote. She chose this photo because it represents new life, and Sundays are a day of renewal for us.

Cedar Rapids Nativity, 2011

This is the life size Armstrong-Smulokoff Nativity from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This collection spans about half the width of a basketball court. Following are close-ups of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Then there are close-ups of some of the 630 nativities included at this annual event.There are also photos of the general atmosphere and the children's room, including where children and their families can dress up in a live nativity. Some of the pictures have a quarter in it somewhere to give you a sense of scale.
